Season fees across the 37 clubs we track range from about $150 to $7,810, with a median around $2,500. The single biggest driver is how far the team travels: local-only teams commonly run around $1,200, while national-travel teams often run $5,270+ once you add flights, hotels, and tournament entries. The posted fee is rarely the full cost — uniforms, travel, and extra tournaments are usually on top.

Most Minnesota girls' club tryouts run from late October into November, right after the high-school season ends. Regional teams play tournaments that usually involve a hotel stay but stay in the broader region. Local teams stick to day-trip tournaments close to home. It varies by club. Many clubs — especially larger ones and developmental programs — aim to place every player who tries out onto some team, while their top teams are genuinely selective. Smaller or highly competitive clubs may cut. Ask each club directly what happens if a player isn't offered a top-team spot.
